Boston is know not just for its healthy and vibrant art scene, but also for its highly satisfying gastronomic treats. Every traveler in Boston should not leave until they have tried Boston seaport’s rooftop for dining and drinking. We’re talking about the Outlook Kitchen and Lookout Rooftop Bar – two of the best hotspots in Boston, bar none.

The Outlook Kitchen

The Outlook Kitchen has always been an inspiration for foodies across Boston because of its innovative take on food, and the way it always prioritizes local sourcing of ingredients and delivering the best possible experience to all its guests.

American through and through, but always open to international influences that would make its dishes superior, The Outlook Kitchen can be described as a meld of New England scrumptiousness, completed by Progressive and Creative American influences.

The Outlook Kitchen also welcomes orders for gluten-free and vegan dishes. Food here is always prepared fresh from the full kitchen, and Al Fresco Dining will open on April 22. If you are a guest at The Envoy Hotel, you can just walk in and have all your meals here – it’s that simple, and that delicious.

The Outlook Kitchen serves the magical and wonderful from morning until evening, and serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, desserts, and bar bites, too. If you are a guest at the hotel, they also have a special In-Room Menu that features breakfast, all-day meals, dinner, and desserts. You can order anything from red snapper in banana leaf to Georges Bank scallops while in the comfort of your sleeping quarters.

The Lookout Rooftop Bar

The Lookout Rooftop Bar is the hottest rooftop bar at the Innovation District in Boston, and the long lines that lead to the Lookout all year long just shows how dedicated The Lookout is to pleasing its guests. There simply is no substitute for the fantastic elevation of this rooftop bar, and the skyline views of the city are unmatched.

If you’re tired of just staring at the same four walls of the bar or pub that you usually frequent, the Lookout Rooftop Bar is perfect for you. You can even book a private event here, and your guests are going to love the scenic atmosphere and radical cocktails by the Lookout Rooftop Bar’s resident mixologist. The Lookout’s current Summer Menu is looking sharp with warm themes like the Fruit Stand, Signature Summer, and of course, Barrel Aged Cocktails.

There’s also domestic, draft, and imported beers, as well as specialty craft beers like VT IPA, Freebird, Whirlpool, Be Hoppy, and Sluice Juice. There’s also plenty to choose from when you’re raring for some seltzers/ciders: Truly Sparkling Seltzer (Blueberry Acai, Lime/Grapefruit), Agua Fresca Cucumber (Golden Road Brewing Lime Seltzer), High Noon Vodka & Soda (Black Cherry), and much, much more. The Lookout’s Spring Hours (May  3rd to September 30th) are 12 PM – 11 PM on Sundays, 4 PM to 11 PM (Mondays through Wednesdays), and 4 PM to 12 AM on Thursdays through Saturdays.
