With the beautiful fall in our midst, nothing compares to sharing good drinks and good food with friends and family. And where else can you celebrate life, love, and friendship but in the swankiest place in Boston, the Lookout Rooftop Bar?
The Lookout Rooftop Bar is located upstairs and people who stay at the Envoy Hotel automatically get to enjoy both the full-service kitchen downstairs and views from the Lookout Rooftop Bar. Those staying in the hotel are also guaranteed entry. Lines pick up during the busiest seasons of the year, so it would be best to call ahead and make a reservation.
One of the great things about the Lookout Rooftop Bar is the fact that it offers so many spirits and cocktails, you will never run out of things to taste. Boston is the home of the globe’s most discerning foodies, and it is no so small wonder that the management of the Lookout Rooftop Bar has made it a point to continually innovate the spirits and cocktails menu, to accommodate the most discerning tastes of guests from all over the city, and the country. Boston is one of the most cosmopolitan and modern cities culture-wise, and this definitely shows in its cuisine and how it consumes it drinks.
What is in store for you when you visit the Lookout Rooftop Bar?
For vodka, you can choose from Ketel One, Belvedere, Grey Goose, Crop Cucumber Organic, Crop Meyer Lemon Organic, Titos, Bully Boy, and many more. There are also whiskey and bourbon selections (Bully Boy, Bulleit Bourbon, Bullet Rye, Knob Creek, Knob Creek Rye, Woodford Reserve, Jack Daniels, Michters Bourbon, and Michters Rye) as well as Irish whiskey (Teeling and Jameson) plus classic scotch and single malt drinks (Dewars, Chivas Regal, Johnny Black, Johnny Blue, Glenvilet Founders Reserve, Ardberg, Glenmorangie, and Balvenie). Going to this bar is like visiting the finest wine and spirits cellar in the city. Taste, taste, taste!
And then there are the cocktails. The literal spirits of the party, the cocktails at the Outlook Rooftop Bar are specially designed to keep people joshing, laughing, and having a good time (generally). For some sweet sensations, try La Diabla (Dobel Diamante, grapefruit fruitation, truly sparkling grapefruit). Then there’s the classic sangria given the Boston twist – the Seaport Sangria, made with a mix of blush wine, peach schnapps, bols elder flower, and pineapple juice.
For something stronger (yet svelte enough for both ladies and gents), we recommend the Pain Killer, which has Bacardi Gold, lime juice, simple, and ginger beer. Good notes, stout taste, and definitely a classic you will want to make your “go to” when you visit the Lookout Rooftop Bar.
And for taste that goes beyond the national borders, there is always Irish I Was Drunk, which is made from a powerful kicker combo of Jameson Caskmates, Kahlua, Baileys, Chambord and coffee. No need to grab a cup of coffee after, we have your caffeine right here in Irish I Was Drunk.
Come enjoy some new drinks and the beautiful weather!
